Isotonic saline solution 0.9% provides an effective base for
inhalation therapy. With a salt content of 0.9%, it corresponds to the salt content of the horse’s body and thus moisturizes the mucous membranes of the
respiratory tract. In addition, it prevents the attachment of foreign bodies, viruses and bacteria, strengthens the natural protective function
of
the mucous membranes and has mild expectorant properties.
